The ideal engineer is a composite… He is not a scientist, he is not a mathematician, he is not a sociologist or a writer, but he may use the knowledge and techniques of any or all of these disciplines in solving engineering problems

COMPUTER ENGINEERING

Computer Engineering is one of the most sighed disciplines of engineering courses and is the practical and scientific approach to its application. In Computer Engineering the student will go through the algorithms, programming languages, operating systems, database management systems, computer networks, computer graphics and artificial intelligence.

COMPUTER ENGINEERING

The Institute recognizes the key role that computers play in teaching as well as research. Govt. Polytechnic Ambota is committed to providing computing facilities of the highest standards. There is well-qualified faculty in the Computer Engineering Department, which is committed to providing quality education to the students. In the Computer Engineering Department, there are three computer laboratories & one computer centre with 170 computer systems with the latest configuration. All the latest software is installed spanning even beyond the curriculum so that the students continually upgrade their skills. All the computer laboratories & centres are well furnished & air-conditioned.

Laboratories- Multimedia Lab, Networking Lab, Programming Lab, Hardware Lab, Computer Center, Digital & Microprocessor Lab. (Shared with Electronics & Communication Engg.), Basic Electrical Engg. Name of the Labs/workshops: Network Lab, Multimedia Lab, IOT lab, Hardware lab and Computer Center.

Learning is a continuous process and does not end with the acquisition of a degree, especially because steady and rapid advances in computing technologies shorten the life of tools and techniques prevalent today. Therefore we do not aim to make our students walking manuals of any language or package. Instead, they are given a strong foundation in computer science and problem-solving techniques, and are made adaptable to changes.
