Electronics and Communication Engineering is a dynamic and exciting area that provides excellent career opportunities in various sectors of society. We are committed to giving our students an environment where they develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills as they advance through the programme. The Department strives to be at the forefront of providing quality education in contemporary and emerging areas.

Electronics & Communication Engineering deals with electronic devices, circuits, communication equipment like transmitters, receivers, integrated circuits (IC), basic electronics, analogue and digital transmission & reception of data, voice and video (Example AM, FM, DTH), microprocessors, satellite communication, microwave engineering, antennae and wave progression. It aims to deepen the knowledge and skills of the students on the basic concepts and theories that will equip them in their professional work involving analysis, systems implementation, operation, production, and maintenance of the various applications in the field of Electronics and Communications Engineering.

ABOUT DEPARTMENT

The Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engg. started from the session in July 2007 with an intake of 40 students. The Electronics & Communication Department is well established and committed to providing quality education to the students.

OBJECTIVE

To involve the students in lifelong learning and professional development by pursuing higher education and participation in research and development activities to integrate engineering issues into broader social contexts.

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) has consistently maintained an exemplary academic record. The greatest asset of the department is its highly motivated and learned faculty. The available diversity of expertise of the faculty with the support of the other staff prepares the students to work in the global multicultural environment. The students of the Electronics & Communication Stream have been selected by some of the leading Multinational Companies and Industries - SAMSUNG, TRIPHASE, LUMINOUS, GABRIEL, LABAT ASIA PVT. LTD, BEL, BHEL, ISRO, DRDO

The Department not only aims to make our students technically sound and knowledgeable but also to nurture their wisdom and make them better and responsible human beings. We hope that we will continue to deliver our best to serve society and mankind. It is also expected that our students will continue to pass on the skills which they have developed during their stay at this department to the whole of the world for a better society.
